I'm using someone else's SIM card in India. I have his real number, but I regularly have to deal with repeat calls from people going 'Anil? Anil?' who don't speak English so I can't explain to them that I'll give the number. Also, I recently got a call from the carrier saying I hadn't sent in the appropriate identity forms to prove that I was me (i.e. not me, Anil). I'm sure they were happy to hear that I was not Anil, that I didn't know his address or full name and that I couldn't fill out the forms for myself because I'm not Indian--which, theoretically, also means I can't have a SIM card in the first place. <em>That</em> was an awkward conversation.
